The 6×6/10×10 welded wire mesh is a precision-engineered steel reinforcement product composed of either smooth or deformed wires, assembled in a vertical and horizontal grid configuration. The designation "6×6" refers to the square spacing between the wires (in inches), while the "10×10" indicates the individual wire gauges used in both directions.

 

This mesh is part of the broader reinforcing steel family, which includes essential materials such as rebar, annealed wire, galvanized wire, barbed wire, and wire rod. Its uniform structure, strength, and ease of installation make it a reliable solution for concrete reinforcement in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

The term "electrowelded" reflects the manufacturing process, in which electric current is used to generate heat at wire intersections, followed by the application of pressure to create solid and consistent welds. Manufactured in compliance with the NOM-B-290-1988 standard, the mesh meets all technical and quality requirements for cold-drawn or cold-rolled steel wire, in either smooth or deformed finishes, and is available in grade 50 or 60. The standard outlines rigorous testing procedures to ensure mechanical properties and weld integrity, making this product fully compliant for structural use in concrete reinforcement systems.

Grade 50 is suitable for most general construction (e.g. residential slabs, walls)
